What our customers are saying

We had a wonderful experience! From the first contact to the finished project, they were very knowledgeable, prompt and thorough. They get an A+ because they take pride I. Their work and it shows. Not only in the quality of the stone but in how they treat their customers. Can’t say enough of how pleased I am! Definitely recommend to anyone😁

Debra and Grady were great to work with on our bathroom renovation. Debra was very responsive and Grady took the time to educate this DIY guy. They said I would have my vanity top in a week and it was ready in 4 days. If you are looking to replace your countertops I would highly recommend these folks.

Would only recommend these fine folks to anyone needing countertops Best in the upstate

Grady and Debra were excellent to work with, providing timely responses to the many questions we had throughout the project. Grady and the installation team did an excellent job installing our new marble countertops and cabinets to the point of perfection – team are true craftsmen...vs being concerned with just getting the job done and moving on to the next project as quick as possible. Would use them again and recommend to all our friends!

What sets Carolina Granite apart from others?

There are countless reasons that make Carolina Granite the preferred choice for countertops and cabinetry in the Carolinas and Georgia. We are locally owned and operated by not only lifelong residents of upstate South Carolina, but we are one of — if not the only — countertop and custom cabinetry service in the area that maintains a South Carolina licensed builder to oversee each and every project. In addition to this, our licensed builder is available to meet each customer at the stone warehouse to not only help you decide on the exact slabs that you want to use for your countertops, but to also answer any questions you may have. We’re not aware of any other companies that offer this personal touch and level of expertise to their clients — at no additional charge! You’ll quickly discover from your first interaction with Carolina Granite that our clients are more than just a number, you become part of the Carolina Granite family.

What is your typical installation time for countertops?

We typically have your countertops ready to install 3-4 weeks from the time you choose the slabs you want. Occasionally, we have a break in our schedule and can install quicker. In terms of the actual installation time, 90% of our installs are completed in a single day.

What is your countertop process?

We like to keep things easy. We begin the process by providing you with a quote. We ask you to do a very simple drawing like the example shown on our measuring guide. Your drawing does not have to be professional, pretty, or precise. The next step is to choose your slabs. Our licensed residential builder will meet you at one of the local stone warehouses to answer any questions you may have when choosing the exact slabs for your project. We will then arrange a time for our licensed residential builder to visit your home and create templates. Next, we schedule a day for your countertops installation and removal of your existing countertops. Some companies will remove your old countertops several days or weeks before the new countertops are ready to be installed, leaving your home a mess and you without countertops! We like to make your life easier, so we remove your old countertops on the same day that we install your new ones.

What services do you offer?

We offer countertop fabrication and installation using granite, quartz, marble, soapstone, quartzite, Onyx, and schist.

If you are having a water filtration system installed or are running cables/wiring, and need new hole(s) cut in your countertops, we’re here to help.

If your sink has started coming loose from the countertop due to poor installation practices by previous services, our experts are available to reattach your sink and guarantee that your sink will never come loose from the countertops again. In the rare event that it does, we will reattach it at no charge to you.

We also offer a fabrication only service for DIY’ers who plan on installing the countertops themselves.

Lastly, we offer a range of custom cabinetry and cabinet refacing services.

Is the installation included in the price?

Yes. Installation is included in our price unless it is stated otherwise on your quote.

Are there any hidden fees?

We appreciate pricing transparency as much as you do and pride ourselves in not having any hidden fees. This also means that we don’t charge credit card processing fees like many countertop fabrication companies do.

How do I measure my countertops?

We keep this as simple as possible and provide you with a few options. You can provide us with a very simple, hand drawing of your countertop layout with some basic measurements.

If you don’t feel like providing a quick sketch, you can simply text or email us a few photos of your kitchen and we will do the drawing for you and simply ask you to measure a few areas. We try to make it as easy as possible.

Can I pick out the exact slab of stone for my project?

Yes. We have found that by letting you select the exact slabs of stone for your project, you have the opportunity to add your own personal preferences and tastes to what will ultimately become your ideal countertop space. As far as we know, Carolina Granite is the only company in the area that offers this at no additional charge.

Do you have financing options available?

Yes. We work with a local bank that offers easy home improvement financing. If you are interested, we can connect you with our dedicated representative at the bank who will work with you.

Do you provide a warranty for your work?

We guarantee our work to be completed at a professional level by trained experts. Like every other stone countertop fabricator, we can not warranty the stone itself since it is a natural product.

For projects that utilize quartz, the manufacturers do provide warranties for the product itself and we will provide you with the information you’ll need to activate that warranty.

How long has Carolina Granite been around?

Carolina Granite has been serving the countertop and cabinetry needs in the Carolinas and Georgia for over 15 years. Our owners, Debra and Grady, who have been married for 43 years, began building custom residential homes in the 1980’s. After creating hundreds of custom homes over the course of decades, they decided to form Carolina Granite in the early 2000’s.
